Beef quarters average 125 lbs hanging weight – if this will be too much meat for your freezer, we highly recommend splitting a quarter with a friend or family member. Quarters are split-halves, meaning you’ll receive cuts from both the front and hind quarters.
Price is $5.99/lb (hanging weight) plus processing, which averages $0.50/lb. We pay the kill fee for you. Beef is killed at Caledonia Packing, a USDA-inspected facility and animal welfare approved.
Beef is either processed at Caledonia Packing or Byron Center Meats (depending on butcher dates, which have been complicated by Covid-19).

Deposits are $150 per quarter ($300 per half) and will be credited to your final invoice.
