Please note that all farm tours are indefinitely post-poned during the COVID-19 pandemic and state restrictions on gatherings, shelter-in-place, etc. Please submit an interest form if you would like to be informed when we are able to host tours again. THANK YOU!
We offer two types of Coffee + Muck Boots Farm Tours!
The first is our Herd Share Informational Tour designed for interested and existing herd share members. The cost is free for existing members and $20/family for interested members (cost will be applied to your annual lease fee when you join). Tours last around 1 hour.
The second is our Small Farm Educational Tour which is designed for hobby farmers, homesteaders, and small-scale producers. The cost is $15/adult and tours last 1.5 – 2 hours.
For BOTH tours – please review our farm visit policies below. See you soon!
What to Bring!
Closed-Toe Shoes (preferably washable!) This is a livestock farm. Mud, manure, tools and farm materials are daily realities, so please dress appropriately for your safety and comfort.
Respectful Children! We are a very family-friendly farm but this is our personal property and we have worked hard to share it with others – we want to keep it that way. 🙂
Please DO NOT allow children to chase, harass, tease our animals or destroy our property in any way. We have lots of expensive equipment, large livestock that your children may not be used to and obeying the rules of the farm is of the utmost important for your (and our) safety and well-being. You will be asked to leave in instances of unruly behavior.
What NOT to bring!
DOGS. While we love meeting all the human members of your family, please refrain from bringing your dog(s) to the farm.
This can be VERY dangerous both for your dog, our dog and the livestock. A family dog can quickly sour a farm tour by injuring itself, terrorizing our livestock and potentially injuring them. You would be held liable in these instances so please help us avoid catastrophe and keep your pets in the comfort of their own home.
Thank you for respecting our boundaries!
